More
Jennifer Steinkamp is an installation artist who works with video and new media
in order to explore ideas about architectural space, motion, and perception.
She gave us a few words about her work with SyFlex:
Syflex: Why cloth simulation?
Jennifer: I used the simulation to create falling cloth. I wanted to create a virtual material falling down an invisible surface.
Syflex: Why did you choose to work with SyFlex?
Jennifer: A friend showed me SyFlex. I tried it and decided this was great for my needs.
Syflex: This was the first time you have used SyFlex, right? How was the learning curve?
Jennifer: Yes the learning curve was very straight forward, the documentation was great.
Syflex: What did you like about SyFlex?
Jennifer: It changed my life. Just kidding. I do find it magical.
